Logo & Visual Identity
This project involved designing a logo and visual identity for Auto-Serwis Kozłowski, a car repair and painting service with a long-standing local tradition. The design was developed in close collaboration with the client, with every element meticulously crafted to align with their specific vision and brand values.
The logo is built on a literal and direct visual language, requested by the client to ensure immediate brand recognition. The symbol combines three key elements of the business: a car silhouette, a gear, and a wrench. This fusion clearly communicates the service's focus on automotive repair and mechanical expertise. The car is positioned with a forward-moving dynamic, suggesting efficiency and a seamless return to the road.
The typography uses a bold, all-caps sans-serif font for both "AUTO-SERWIS" and the family name, "KOZŁOWSKI." This choice was made to convey strength, reliability, and a no-nonsense approach to service. A unique, bespoke element was incorporated directly beneath the family name: a stylised tyre-tread pattern. This design choice was a specific request from the client to honour their deep-rooted history in the automotive field and to serve as a symbolic nod to their legacy on the road.
The logo employs a single shade of dark blue. This colour choice reinforces the brand's professionalism, trustworthiness, and technical competence. It's a clean and classic colour that inspires confidence in customers seeking reliable car service.
This logo is a testament to working closely with a client to bring their exact vision to life. It successfully creates a brand identity that is unapologetically straightforward, instantly recognisable, and deeply connected to the business's local tradition and family name. The final design is a direct and powerful representation of a dependable, no-frills service built on expertise and trust.
